Lloyd Dobler had it right in the 1989 cult classic 'Say Anything'. I've been thinking about this quote for about a week, and I see my kids growing up and saying virtually the same thing, just in a different way.
We tag this millennial generation many times as being one that is very materialistic and that's just simply not true. That title goes to their moms and dads, which are us.
Kids today don't necessarily want the big house or high paying job, may not get married, and may have few to no children (there is some fact-based data to back up this statement), and want to be a part of something where the contributions they make are appreciated, are making a difference, and are changing the world 🌎
